The 254-year-old Bum Rukn ud-Dowlah Lake, a significant heritage site from the Asaf Jahi era, In Hyderabad is facing an alarming threat. Rapid encroachment over the past few months has resulted in nearly half of the lake being filled and levelled. This not only jeopardizes our historical legacy but also poses a serious environmental risk. However, under the exceptional leadership of Ranganath IPS, the HYDRAA Commissioner has taken bold and commendable action by demolishing all illegal constructions on the lake. This decisive intervention is a critical step towards preserving this vital water body for future generations. We express our deepest gratitude for their unwavering commitment to protecting our environment and cultural heritage
