In the name of Friendly Police the Traffic Police beating up two men in Chevella, outskirts of Hyderabad. A shocking incident of police high handed behaviour has come to light from Chevella, where a traffic police inspector and a constable were caught on camera thrashing two men in public.The video footage shows the traffic inspector, identified as Venkatesham, approaching three men standing on the roadside.Without any provocation, he aggressively grabs one of the men by the collar and starts assaulting him.
The situation escalates as a traffic constable, J Srinu, joins in the assault, targeting another man in the group. A third policeman, Keshav,was also present at the scene.This incident comes just a week after another case of police brutality surfaced, where a sub-inspector slapped and beat up a truck driver in Jeedimetla.Joel Davis the Joint CP traffic of Cyberabad says that the incident has come to his notice. “We will verify and take action”
