In a step forward, the Telangana State Government envisaged plans to modernize the government schools and Gurukul educational institutions. Government already initiated measures to establish SC, ST, BC and Minority Gurukul schools under a single roof at an Integrated Residential School Campus.The integrated campuses will be built in all Assembly Constituencies in the state.

The construction of such campuses will be taken up in Kodangal and Madhira Assembly Constituencies on a pilot project. These campuses will be built in all the constituencies in a phased manner. Revanth Reddy, Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka and Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari held a review on the establishment of Integrated Residential Schools with the officials concerned at the CM’s residence in Hyderabad. The Chief Minister, Deputy CM and officials examined the designs for integrated schools which have been developed by the Architects. Apart from classrooms, the school campuses will be constructed as advanced educational institutions on par with international schools. The integrated residential schools will provide all facilities to the students. Officials have been asked to design and construct the school campuses as per the availability of land. These school buildings will be constructed equivalent international schools. Each Integrated Gurukul Complex will be developed in an area of about 20 to 25 acres. The government already decided to build the school buildings at one place and develop them as a Mini Education Hub. The main objective of the establishment of such integrated educational campuses is to develop competitive spirit among all students and eliminate discrimination on caste and religious lines. The integrated residential school concept will also help the effective management and supervision of Gurukuls.
