Rising on previous success, this year, on August 3rd and 4th, we are all set to conduct Hyderabad-Bengali Film Festival 2024 edition, along with Esprimiti 4th edition. This festival was born with your patronage in 2014 and since then we have grown stronger with your continuous supportWe would like to take this opportunity to invite you to attend the festival and write about it. This year we are all set to pay a tribute to Late Mrinal Sen, the maestro, from Hyderabad-Bengali Film Festival, which is an initiative of Bengalis in Hyderabad.
In this occasion we would like to screen “Chalchitra Ekhon”, a recent film made by Anjan Dutt. Dutt has extensively worked with late Mr. Sen, as an actor. It goes without saying that Sri Dutt is one of the very few people who has cut across generations.The other films are Whispers of Fire and Water, Niharika and Once Upon a Time in Calcutta.This tribute not only celebrates the rich heritage of Bengal but also highlights the strong cultural ties that exist between Telangana and West Bengal. It is a beautiful amalgamation of two distinct cultures coming together to celebrate the brilliance of Kishore Kumar on his birth anniversary who continues to be an inspiration for generations to come.
