Andhra Pradesh State Minister for Education, IT and Electronics, Nara Lokesh, is holding the “Praja Darbar” only for the people of Mangalagiri Assembly segment, people across the State are attending the program on a largescale to bring their problems to the notice of the Minister. From early in the morning people are gathering and are directly bringing the problems they are facing to the notice of Lokesh since there are no curbs imposed near his residence. Following the huge response to the “Praja Darbar” being organized by Lokesh, MLAs of the ruling dispensation are now planning to hold such programs in their respective Assembly segments.

After giving a patient hearing to everyone who is approaching him, Lokesh is immediately forwarding the appeals made by the people to the officials concerned to initiate necessary action. On Saturday, Lokesh received appeals from the people from various parts of the State to save their lands as they are illegally and forcibly occupied by the local YSRCP leaders when the party was in power.The affected persons personally explained to Lokesh how forcibly their lands were occupied by the local YSRCP leaders. Ala Sambasiva Rao of Errabalem of Mangalagiri mandal informed Lokesh that his 16.5 cents of land was grabbed by one Chavali Ullaiah and made an appeal to Lokesh to take steps to get the land back to him. Kurava Mardiah, an old man from Loddipalli of Orvakallu mandal in Kurnool district told Mr Lokesh that the land which is the main source of income for his entire family, was forcibly occupied by Pittam Naga Sudhakar Reddy and Parigi Madhavi with the support of the local YSRCP leaders. He made an appeal to Lokesh to take steps to get back his land to him as he is in dire straits and does not have money to go for legal fight. He also told Lokesh that his repeated appeals to the local police were in vain and made a fervent appeal to Lokesh to come to his rescue now.

The residents of Vaddeswaram, Vundavalli, Tadepalli and Kunchanapalli submitted a memorandum to Lokesh seeking measures to remove the encroachments near the residence of the former chief minister, Jagan Mohan Reddy. Goli Venkata Bhavana Rushi of Tadepalli appealed to Lokesh to extend financial assistance to his daughter under Kalyana Masthu scheme. Mr Vunnam Nagaraju of Nidamarru informed Mr Lokesh that he has not been receiving the lease amount for the past two years for the land that he has given for Amaravathi and asked the Minister to release the amount. The representatives of the AP APW Association made an appeal to the Minister to take the Ayush employees back into service while the outsourcing employees of the Engineer-in-Chief, Panchayat Raj and Vijayawada HOD to take steps to provide job guarantee for them.

The representatives of the 12,000 contract and outsourcing employees of the AP State Beverages Corporation working with 3,600 liquor shops across the State to absorb them in different government departments. Several others too brought their problems to the notice of Lokesh and wanted steps to resolve them for which the Minister responded positively. Lokesh directed the officials to take immediate measures to see to it that the lands grabbed illegally by the local leaders are handed over back to the original owners.
